Acrylic is a plastic material that many people know as Perspex (this is a trade brand).
Acrylic comes in many different colours and thicknesses.
3 dimensional, acrylic signage can either be, flat individual letters or fully fabricated letters.
Flat individual letters can be cut from a variety of different thickness material but are limited to material sizes on the market. Fully fabricated letters can be made to virtually any depth of side thereby achieving a true 3 dimensional effect.
Flat individual letters can be finished in a variety of colours and ways. Fabricated acrylic letters are quite commonly internally illuminated by LED lights. The letters can then have a coloured face if required.
In the majority of instances fabricated acrylic letters are fitted with a back which is fixed to the wall then the body of the letter fits over this back, thereby eliminating fixings in the face
All of our acrylic letters are made specifically to the customer’s requirements and there are no “set” sizes.
